VETERANS TRANSITION CENTER OF MONTEREY COUNTY

The Coming Home Program offers homeless Veterans a resource to assist them in reaching re-integration and self-sufficiency in society. Veterans can access case management services, life skills workshops, substance abuse counseling and temporary living quarters to assist during their journey towards establishing financial stability and permanent housing. The program is tailored for each individual and will confront the needed areas of assistance specifically for that individual, and give a project time frame to realistically help them achieve their goals.

Within the Coming Home program, to assist in goal achievement, the Vet+Prep program is designed to assess the Veteran and formulate a plan that will be obtainable, beneficial, and successful.

Working with community partners, we provide employment placement, case management, employment preparedness, resume writing, housing services, employment retention assistance, and physical/mental health services.
