Moral Injury Support Network for Servicewomen, Inc. operates four major programs as part of its charity work.

Veterans' Hope Project
The Veterans' Hope Project supports women veterans coping with PTSD by providing food, clothing, financial support, and gift cards to restore stability. It also offers education, counseling, and peer support to foster healing, resilience, and independence. Partnering with local organizations, the project aims to empower women veterans to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope. Over the next 12 months, Moral Injury Support Network for Servicewomen, Inc. (MISNS) will help over 1,000 women and families, providing food items, household goods, cleaning supplies and other household essentials while they recover, take job training, and receive mental health counseling. These tangible goods and health services will come from MISNS and our network partners. MISNS is only shouldering part of the heavy load of taking care of women veterans and their families.

The Healing Path Project: Advanced Trauma-Informed Training for Licensed Counselors
This is a specialized professional development series meticulously designed for licensed counselors, offering in-depth education on mental trauma, including moral injury (MI), adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), complex trauma, and PTSD. This program delves into the sources and neurobiological impact of trauma, equipping participants with advanced strategies for assessment, intervention (including modalities like EMDR and Play Therapy), and prevention, while also addressing critical aspects such as cultural competence, crisis response, and the essential need for counselor self-care to mitigate secondary traumatic stress. Through comprehensive learning, The Healing Path Project aims to enhance counselors' abilities to foster healing, resilience, and trauma-informed care within their practice and contribute to systemic change in supportive environments.

Guiding Light: Supporting Moral Injury Recovery Through Spiritual Care
This program provides essential tools and methods for chaplains, counselors and spiritual care providers who are supporting individuals dealing with moral injury, emphasizing inner peace and healing through spiritual care practices. Participants will learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of moral injury, apply spiritual assessment techniques, integrate forgiveness and compassion into interventions, and develop personal resilience. This event will include up to 300 attendees who will receive comprehensive materials, including a digital manual, slide deck, and the book "Moral Injury: A Guidebook for Military Leaders."

Honouring Her Service: A Guide to the Ethics of Research with Military Veterans Who Identify as Women
Honouring Her Service is a resource book providing researchers with the trauma and violence-informed ethical framework necessary to conduct respectful and impactful research with veterans who identify as women. The book outlines essential considerations for understanding the landscape of women veterans research, including the importance of veteran-centric approaches, community relevance, and informed consent. It navigates challenges and ethical dilemmas in recruitment and research, addressing issues like accessibility, confidentiality, and conflicts of interest. The guide promotes culturally aware and sensitive research practices, addressing intersectionality and promoting equity. Ultimately, this guide aims to equip researchers with best practices and resources for conducting ethical, respectful, and impactful research with women veterans.
