WOODLANDS DOG PARK CLUB

Lone Star Animal Welfare League's main objective is Spay and Neuter. Our Fixing Montgomery County Program consumes the majority of our funding/donations. In early 2025, we reached a huge milestone, by completed 10,000 surgeries via low-cost or free opportunities within our community. We finished 2025 with just under 1,500 surgeries (which include vaccinations and microchips). This helps keep our communities safe(r) from animal spread diseases and reduce the number of animals that end up in our local shelters. We focus on helping low income, disabled, veteran and senior citizen families with vaccinations and spay/neuter surgery. We try to do what we can to help take the strain off of our Animal Shelters. Some of our other goals include:

**Raising spay/neuter awareness through distribution of educational materials. We created a coloring book that we share at events and with teachers in our community.

**Promote safe off leash environment and responsible pet ownership practices in our community (we began our non-profit in 2004 and created dog park locations throughout our community).
