CDH believes health equity includes oral health, and is achieved when every person has the opportunity to attain his or her full health potential. No one should be disadvantaged from achieving this potential because of lack of oral health care and the detriments to receive oral health care.
We provide free and low cost dental care based on each persons individual needs. We are patient centered care and not production focused.
Unfortunately, many people who cannot afford oral health care and have a toothache, their only option is to go to the E.R. Our impact within the Healthcare system is indicated by decreased E.R. visits. The results, which has positively addressed the opioid epidemic, improved physical health and management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular, and improved nutrition as well as decreased the burden of many overburdened ER departments.
