The Latimer Lutheran Church Preservation Society is a 501(c)(3) dedicated to preserving this historical church. This building, a series 800 WWI Regimental Chapel, was constructed in 1942 at the Herington Army Air Field, then after WWII ended, was moved to Latimer in 1946 to serve as a Lutheran church.
