ZEN GAB FOUNDATION

The Zen Gab Foundation is a combat-disabled Veteran-owned 501(c)(3) organization based in Harris and Montgomery counties, in Houston, TX. The Zen Gab Foundation's mission is to provide Veterans with therapeutic activities and peer support that will help improve and maintain their physical, social, and emotional well-being. We achieve this through programs that offer a socially and emotionally supportive environment and promote therapeutic family recreation in the community. Our current active programs include a fishing club, art classes, lunch groups, group sporting event outings, and the quarterly Mind, Body, & Soul Vision Board Workshop. Our goals are to improve our Veterans’ confidence and coping skills, reduce social isolation and anxiety, and promote a sense of belonging and holistic well-being through individual, group, family, and community participation in therapeutic recreation.
