Village Presbyterian Church

The Community Food Pantry strives to end the physical and emotional hunger of families in a dignified manner. Our comprehensive approach not only alleviates hunger with nutritional foods, but also provides support services such as health screenings, nutritional education, school weekend food backpacks, veterans and homeless outreach. We serve each client and host each volunteer with grace and dignity and without regard to race, creed, religion, income or perceived need.

The Community Food Pantry helped feed more than 20,000 families in 2023, and we anticipate doing it again in 2024. Each year we help parents who have trouble making ends meet, seniors on fixed incomes deciding between medicine and groceries, at-risk students with school food backpacks, and individuals who have lost a job or are underemployed with nutritious foods and Bags of Hope toiletry bags. By the end of 2024, we will have served 8 million meals to the community since our inception in 2008.
