Village Presbyterian Church
Tampa, FloridaThe Community Food Pantry strives to end the physical and emotional hunger of families in a dignified manner. Our comprehensive approach not only alleviates hunger with nutritional foods, but also provides support services such as health screenings, nutritional education, school weekend food backpacks, veterans and homeless outreach. We serve each client and host each volunteer with grace and dignity and without regard to race, creed, religion, income or perceived need.
The Community Food Pantry will help feed more than 22,000 families or 85,000 people in 2026, a third of whom are children. Each year we help parents who have trouble making ends meet, seniors on fixed incomes deciding between medicine and groceries, at-risk students with school food backpacks, and individuals who have lost a job or are underemployed with nutritious foods and Bags of Hope toiletry bags. By the end of 2026, we will have served 10 million meals to the community since our inception in 2008.
