WOUNDED WARRIORS UNITED OF WISCONSIN

Wounded Warriors United of Wisconsin is a volunteer organization that takes Wisconsin Veterans on outdoor hunting and fishing trips, daily outings, and other "events". We serve all Wisconsin Veterans. We take them hunting and fishing on what are sometimes life changing experiences for them. Veterans never pay a penny for these opportunities. Our organization has inspired hundreds of Wisconsin veterans to re-engage in the outdoor sports that they love. The commaradarie that they experience is so therapeutic to them and the friendships and bonds that they form is heartwarming. We have been told that we have renewed souls. We are proud to give back any way we can . We get no large funding and rely soley on donations.

Country Haven Farm is our newest growth phase of WWU of WI. We are building a 7 acre hobby retreat farm that will feature a 2 bedroom guest cottage in Gleason Wisconsin. In the beautiful and peaceful northwoods of Wisconsin, veterans will be able to stay anytime with family or another veteran to relax, rejuvenate, hunt or fish in the region or enjoy the farm animals. The program will allow the veterans a quiet and private place to get away, free of charge, to support their empowerment to get back into the outdoors. The farm features mini donkeys, pygmy and fainting goats, mangolista pigs, Scottish Highland Cows and all the animals are friendly and attention loving.
