Christi Center is a grief counseling center that provides no-cost, peer-based counseling to families and individuals who have lost loved ones to death. Christi Center has served over 100k Central Texans since 1987, and we're hosting our annual Heart Connections Luncheon on Thursday, October 30, 2025, to raise funds to keep our services free to our members.
Heart Connections is a day of community and remembrance of our loved ones, where guests will enjoy a plated lunch and connect with local partners and community members in Central Texas. It is our BIGGEST fundraiser, and we need your help with a love gift to Christi Center for operational expenses.
Our services are no-cost because, as one member explained,
"Grief is expensive. The individual therapy for my family is hundreds every month during this acute phase. My son died only 5 months ago. It is so painful that not only did I lose my son, but I’m also having to pay for his last days in the hospital and for so much therapy dealing with losing him. So having this free, no financial pressure environment gives my family tremendous relief.”
