We rescue the urgent dogs in our county shelter to save them from euthanasia.
We now have a low cost veterinary clinic to assist owners and help keep more pets out of shelters . We request grants to offer free spay neuter service.
Rescuing the most urgent in our county. Thinking Globally , yet acting locally to help put an end to over breeding and euthanasia in our community. Working closely, as a placement partner, we have once again been named the 2nd largest puller from our county shelter. Second only to a multimillion dollar organization which has been around over 90 years. As a small, newer non profit, only 3 of us and in only 6 years, we have rescued over 800 dogs, dozens of cats and hundreds of farm animals. We have saved the county taxpayers hundreds of thousands of dollars by keeping these animals out of the county shelter.
We became a contracted stray hold facility for found animals in Palm Beach County. Thus we saw a 300 percent increase in our intake.
We were honored to be voted 1st runner up for Best of Palm Beach County in the non profit sector for 2020, amongst all the non profits in our county.
Once again, we were nominated and made the top 3 nominations , not only in the non profit category, but also Best " Green Business" and "Place to work ". Finishing in the top 3 Non profits for 2020, 21, and 22. Awarded Best Green Business or Organization 2022.
We are nominated for the "Hats off 2020" non profit of Palm Beach County awards.
While we are happy with our accomplishments and the lives we have saved, but we wish to do so much more .
Our first concrete, storm safe structure is complete as well as the storm safe barn! Next project is another storm safe building for housing , along with a medical suite. Not only will this benefit the animals we rescue, but can also benefit the community by offering low cost services to those in need. We have begun the clinic in the bus. Helping not only our rescued dogs and cats, but providing low cost services to the community! We received a generous grant to preform 100 free spay neuters for pitbulls and chihuachihuahuass and are more thn half way through that goal
