Working closely, as a placement partner with the municipal shelter , we are making a significant impact in reducing euthanasia and keeping more pets at home with their families. years. As a small, newer non profit, only 3 of us and in only 10 years, we have rescued over 1500 dogs, dozens of cats and hundreds of farm animals. We have saved the county taxpayers over $1,000,000.00 by keeping these animals out of the county shelter.
In 2022, we became a contracted stray hold facility for found animals in Palm Beach County. Thus we saw a 300 percent increase in our intake.
Our first concrete, storm safe structure is complete as well as the storm safe barn! The 3rd major project is also complete! Another storm safe building for housing , along with a medical suite. Not only does this benefit the animals we rescue, but can also benefit the community by offering low cost services to those in need. We have begun the clinic in the bus and in less than 3 years has served over 6,000 patients! By obtaining grants and funding, we can provide free spay and neuter for the most urgent breeds and those in need in our community.
We were honored to be voted 1st runner up for Best of Palm Beach County in the non profit sector for 2020, amongst all the non profits in our county.
Once again, we were nominated and made the top 3 nominations , not only in the non profit category, but also Best " Green Business" and "Place to work ". Finishing in the top 3 Non profits for 2020, 21, and 22. Awarded Best Green Business or Organization 2022. 2024 Brought us top spot in Veterinary clinic and Kennel. 2025 we are currently nominated top 3 in 6 categories, we find out the winners in March.
We are nominated for the Non Profits FIrst "Hats off 2020, 2022, 2024" non profit of Palm Beach County awards.
Our Executive Director was just nominated for the Giraffe award, winners announced in March
While we are happy with our accomplishments and the lives we have saved, but we wish to do so much more .
