SECOND CHANCES EQUINE RESCUE INC

Second Chances is small, but mighty. We primarily rescue through owner surrender and law enforcement operations in an 80 mile radius of the property. We do have a few equine that are sanctuary due to their unsuitability for adoption.
Our goal is to provide outreach and education to prevent the need for rescue. We work with owners to provide short term assistance with feed and medical costs, references for veterinary and farrier care, and education concerning the individual needs.
Our volunteer program is open to everyone regardless of prior knowledge. We have found that everyone can give and receive love that our rescued herd so needs in their lives.
We have hosted equine assisted therapy sessions centered on our warriors - military, veterans, first responders; and their family members.
