Second Chances Equine Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3, not for profit, volunteer-based organization to ensure quality care and treatment of equines through intervention, education, and outreach.
Second Chances is small, but mighty. We primarily rescue through owner surrender and law enforcement operations in an 80 mile radius of the property. We do have a few equine that are sanctuary due to their unsuitability for adoption.
Our goal is to provide outreach and education to prevent the need for rescue. We work with owners to provide short term assistance with feed and medical costs, references for veterinary and farrier care, and education concerning the individual needs.
