VOLUNTEERS SERVING THE NEED

Volunteers Serving the Need provides Groceries, personal hygiene and household items to local Webb County Military Veterans. The Military Veterans in our program are financially challenged and are faced with difficult financial circumstance. Our goal is to alleviate their need to choose between groceries or medication.
We provide fresh fruits, vegetables and bread on a weekly basis and 90 lbs. of groceries on a monthly basis. We also provide personal hygiene and household items once per month. Our goal is to provide much needed nutrition with at least 20 lbs. of meat or other protein rich foods and 70 lbs. of other nutritional items such as beans, rice, pasta, canned goods, juices, and whatever other nutrition products that are available.
Our monthly non food distribution provides bath and laundry soap, paper towels, toilet paper and other non food basic needs.
Our goal is to serve their needs, as they served our country, and protect their dignity as they protected our freedoms.
