The Friends promote and support the Newton Free Library’s programs, functions, resources, and services. We initiate activities to enhance community awareness of literary, artistic, and cultural programs at the library.

The Newton Free Library has for many years been named one of the top ten best libraries for cities of its size in the United States. We are all fortunate to be living here and enjoying its high-quality materials, programs and services.
