The Newton Free Library has for many years been named one of the top ten best libraries for cities of its size in the United States. We are all fortunate to be living here and enjoying its high-quality materials, programs and services. The FRIENDS OF THE NEWTON FREE LIBRARY are pleased to play a role in helping the library maintain and improve all that it offers the community.

Thanks to generous people like you, a child attending your local elementary school had a safe place to play during the Newton Free Library’s Lego Playtime. A man you see every day at the coffee shop met with a career advisor at the Library Veterans & Community Job Fair and is ready to rejoin the workforce. Retirees who live on your street rediscovered their love for Astronomy and made new friends during Astronomy Nights for Adults through the Newton Free Library.
