Frè Yo's mission is to catalyze the careers of children of color, veterans, and historically marginalized citizens through exposure and sponsorship. As Frederick Douglass once said, "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." We believe in the power of mentorship to light the path for those who have been historically excluded, and to lift the most submerged segments of our communities onto higher ground. By leveraging our pools of talent and resources, we seek to create opportunities for those who have been overlooked and underrepresented. Whether you are a working mom rejoining the workforce, a veteran transitioning into a new industry, a returned citizen seeking education, or a rural black child navigating social codes that can block access to education, we provide a group of mentors to uplevel and upskill you through exposure and sharing the most valuable resource in the world: information.
