Our mission is to transport America’s most senior Veterans, those who served in World War II, Korea, or Vietnam, to Washington, D.C. to visit their memorials so that they can be honored for their service and receive closure. There is absolutely no cost to the Veterans, we just want to honor them and thank them for their service. Our primary service area is the Northern Shenandoah Valley and Loudoun County (however, we will transport any veteran who can meet us at the departure location).
We have found that so many of our most senior veterans truly feel forgotten. Many are isolated, either at home or in a nursing home and feel cutoff from society because of their age and health. Many have never spoken of the horrors they experienced in combat over 70 years ago. The Honor Flight experience is unique in several ways.
