RIO GRANDE VALLEY QUILT GUILD
WESLACO, Texas
The PURPOSE OF THE RGV QUILT GUILD is to preserve and encourage the art of quilting and related needle arts, to provide instruction for its members, and to be a gathering place for people with this common interest.
COMMUNITY SERVICE - Quilts, clothing, bibs, stuffed animals and other items are made by members and donated to various individuals and local organizations, e.g., local hospitals, nursing homes, women's shelters, neonatal units, and more. The Guild supports a military service project giving quilts to local veterans.
WORKSHOPS - Nationally known instructors present educational workshops during the winter season (Nov. to Mar.). There is a reduced fee for members.
