Our purpose is to educate the public of the historical and cultural significance of the events that occurred on these grounds and the people who were instrumental in shaping our county, our state, and our country.
The Red River Meeting House and Cemetery, Inc. strives to preserve and maintain the rich heritage of this historic place. The Meeting House and Cemetery grounds are listed on the National Register of Historic Places due to its extraordinary history as it is home to a very unique phenomenon, the camp meeting.
