Take A Vet Fishing NFP is dedicated to honoring and healing our nation’s heroes by reconnecting them with the peace and camaraderie found in nature. Through professionally guided fishing experiences, we provide U.S. military veterans with a supportive environment to decompress, share their stories, and rediscover purpose beyond service. Our mission is to foster emotional well-being, build lasting connections, and remind every veteran that they are never alone on their journey to healing.

Take A Vet Fishing NFP is a nonprofit organization committed to honoring U.S. military veterans—active, reserve, and retired—by offering guided fishing outings as a form of therapeutic support and community connection. Since our founding in 2011, the organization has taken over 5,000 veterans fishing across states like Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan, and Florida.
