HOLSTEIN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

The Holstein Development Authority and Betterment Alliance are focused on improving the downtown area of Holstein. It is our mission to help enhance a downtown area that supports a growing retail environment but is also welcoming to visitors and citizens alike. Recent projects were the restoration of the State Movie Theatre and constructing an open park adjacent to the Veterans Memorial Hall and near several eating establishments. The park provides benches, tables, planters and pergolas, and will soon have flowers and a mural completed in July of 2024. We also have plans to renovate an open downtown lot for our local Farmers Market Pavillion with music stage and paved areas for vendors and other downtown events. Working with current business owners, financial support for additional murals is planned.
