Women Veterans are in desperate need of emergency, transitional, and supportive housing services in South Carolina. Women Veterans, their children and often times their pets are sleeping outdoors with them in inhumane living conditions. PTSD Veterans Village and supporters recognize the urgency of the vital cause to give them what they've earned and deserve. Our Nation has made great strides in reducing homelessness in the past for our veterans. However, our women veterans have been left behind. They're twice as likely to be homeless than a woman who's never served in the military. They're considered the "Silent Homeless" and for far too long they've been forgotten, overlooked, underappreciated and treated as invisible to many in our society. Women Veterans who are living on the streets not only needs our help, "She Deserves Our Help!" Our Sisters-In-Arms are not looking for a handout, but she will accept a hand up!
Just imagine women veterans who've served our Country now sitting in her car at night trying to keep her children calm. "She's tired, hopeless, homeless, scared and their dog is curled up beside them offering the only comfort that still feels familiar." She's not lazy, she's not without value. She's a veteran who've served her country honorably! As we thank and honor our Veterans for their military service. Is it possible for us to go the extra mile together? Let's join forces to provide a safe haven that will provide peace, hope and serenity to our beloved women veterans. We've provided security for many around the world, now it's our chance to provide a secure housing environment to reacclimate her, her children and their fur babies too. This is our moral duty and besides, "We are our Sister's Keeper." This is a call to action!
This project can change the trajectory of the course of life for our Unsheltered Women Veterans and their children. As we continue to increase awareness to inform Socially Responsible Corporations and many of your employees who served in our Armed Forces. They're our Comrades too! They can relate and understand our plight. Thank you for your attention to this very urgent matter. We humbly request that your Corporation will consider making a tax-deductible contribution to PTSD Veterans Village. Together we can extend a helping hand and make a conscious decision to help our Women Veterans and their families in South Carolina.
PTSD Veterans Village's vision is to live in a world where every Woman Veteran who once wore the uniform with pride now finds solace, security, and a pathway to a better tomorrow.
"No Contribution is too large or too small." Thank you in advance for your support!
