The Moore Wright Group (TMWG) is a BIPOC-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty, abuse, and abandonment in our community by providing hope. Our vision is to create communities where everyone can thrive.
TMWG connects donated goods, logistics, community organizations and practical expertise. Our work has included resource distribution, disaster response, workforce development and community programs. We work with nonprofit organizations, school districts, Tribes and government agencies to help resources reach the communities they serve.
Our distribution history spans Washington, Oregon, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, New Jersey and North Carolina. Our current partner-led model builds on this experience nationally and internationally, including approved international truckload partnerships. We coordinate resources and work with partners rather than offering open, ongoing direct services to individuals. Specifically announced distributions have their own application and participation requirements.
RESOURCE DISTRIBUTION AND COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
TMWG's Resource Distribution Center brings donated goods together with organizations serving their communities. The Resource Bank model supports partner organizations and schools with supplies for resource closets and community programs. This work helps partners connect people with essential goods while strengthening the systems behind distribution.
DISASTER RESPONSE
Our Disaster Distribution Center began in 2019. TMWG's response history includes floods, wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic. Our work has connected donated supplies with organizations, schools, local government agencies and Tribes supporting affected communities. Partnerships and logistics are central to getting available resources where they are needed.
WORKFORCE AND COMMUNITY PROGRAM EXPERIENCE
TMWG's program history includes the Warehouse and Logistics Academy, the Resource Connection Center, and Experience Hope community activities. This experience spans warehouse and logistics skills, resource coordination, seasonal distributions, and programs supporting families and communities. Current activities and opportunities are coordinated through TMWG and its partners.
WORK WITH TMWG
Companies, employees and community organizations can connect with TMWG about charitable support, workplace giving, resource partnerships and coordinated volunteer opportunities. Visit www.tmwg.org for current information.
