COMPASSION FOR OTHERS INC

Compassion for Others is a human services and faith based nonprofit organization. This ministry began in 2010 and is based in Charlotte, NC. All who serve with CFO Ministries, do so, on a volunteer basis. Our ministries objective is based upon the belief that our life purpose is to love God, our Creator, and then to show love to others. Our mission work is to improve the quality of life for others, especially those who are in need. Through gifts CFO Ministries receives and our donation support, CFO Ministries provides the life essentials we all use and need for life, such as food, clothing and hygiene needs. We have provided varied needs that will help sustain life and will minimize the financial burden to obtain. Our ministry serves to uplift, encourage and to provide hope. Services CFO Ministries has provided has purchased wood to heat homes, payment of a utility bill, new clothes for children returning to school, assistance to hurricane flood victims. We have provided help and served children in group homes; to seniors suffering with Alzheimer's disease; we have provided food and shelter needs to the homeless in our communities and to refugees overseas; given help to our military veterans and their families; to single parents struggling to raise a family; to families experiencing a loss due to violence; and to other areas where the need was apparent. In 2019, CFO participated as part of a mission team serving in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. In March, 2022, upon the Russian invasion of Ukraine, CFO Ministries launched Compassion4Ukraine to provide help to refugees in Ukraine, Poland and Romania. Our ministries hope is to see Compassion for Others efforts serve wherever our neighbor is found to be in need and hurting. Thank you.
