Frontline Hives is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders through hands-on beekeeping, nature-based mental health support, and environmental conservation. We serve individuals who have spent their careers protecting others and now deserve meaningful opportunities to heal, reconnect, and thrive.
Through structured beekeeping training, hive sponsorships, and ongoing mentorship, participants gain practical skills, purpose-driven work, and access to outdoor therapy that supports mental health, well-being, and PTSD recovery. Time spent caring for bees fosters focus, responsibility, and calm—benefits that are widely recognized as powerful tools for stress reduction and resilience.
At the same time, Frontline Hives addresses critical environmental challenges by restoring pollinator populations, biodiversity, and healthy ecosystems. Our hives are placed in partnership with schools, communities, and mission-aligned organizations, creating measurable ecological impact while serving as living classrooms.
Education is central to our mission. We provide STEM and environmental education programs for students and the broader community, connecting pollinator health to food systems, conservation, and climate resilience. These programs create intergenerational impact by linking veteran leadership with youth learning.
By supporting Frontline Hives, donors help strengthen mental health, environmental conservation, education, and community resilience—all through a single, scalable model. Every donation directly supports people, pollinators, and the communities they serve.
