Healing Through Music for Individuals Facing Barriers to Supportive Services

The Center for Music and Wellness provides accessible, live therapeutic music programs designed for individuals facing barriers to supportive services, including those living with disabilities, neurodevelopmental differences, and social isolation. Through interactive musical experiences led by professional musicians trained in inclusive engagement practices, participants experience connection, joy, and emotional support in a safe and welcoming environment.

THE NEED
Many individuals and families lack access to supportive wellness programs due to financial, developmental, or social barriers. Music offers a universally accessible pathway to engagement, expression, and community connection.

SUPPORT WILL:
1. Deliver up to 25+ interactive therapeutic music concerts each year at community partner sites.

2. Provide trained professional musicians and program coordination.

3. Expand access to underserved participants facing barriers to experiencing live music.

4. Strengthen infrastructure needed to sustain program delivery.

IMPACT:
1. Serve up to 1,200+ participants annually
2. Increase social engagement and emotional wellbeing.
3. Create inclusive community experiences accessible to all abilities

DONATION IMPACT:
1. $50 supports 40 participant experiences
2. $250 supports 200 participant experiences
3. $1,000 helps deliver one music concert; and expands access to additional partner sites.
