Help us engage the underserved with LIVE music!

Please help us make a difference with a gift of LIVE music! We're seeking to raise an initial $12,000 to provide up to 10 live concert experiences children and adults affected by Autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions, adults suffering from Alzheimer's and other related dementias and cognitive disorders, and those with mental or intellectual disabilities.
As of JULY 2024, thanks to friends and early supporters we've raised initial funding to complete a 3-concert mini pilot in partnership with the Brittany House in Long Beach serving 70 seniors living with Alzheimer's and other dementias. We are THREE concerts strong so far! Please consider donating today to help us reach our goal of TEN concerts.

Professional musicians trained and informed on best practices from licensed music therapists, neuroscientists and other experts, will guide the entire concert experience - from planning a performance custom tailored to the space and demographics at our partners' location, choosing repertoire and content, to performing and leading the LIVE concert experience. Most concerts include multi-sensory enhancements, and/or interactive music making opportunities such as clapping, singing along, using small percussion instruments, and movement-based activities.

Concert experiences are specifically designed for those unable to attend a LIVE musical performance in a traditional venue due to mobility, financial, or health related circumstances. The Center for Music and Wellness brings the LIVE music experience directly to those who would otherwise not have the opportunity.

The connection between music and wellness is well-established and has been shown to have a positive impact on physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as cognitive function and social connections. Whether it's reducing stress, improving mood, or fostering better connections with others, the benefits of music are numerous and far-reaching.
