Strategic Programs
Our strategic programs are designed to go full-circle beginning from an in-depth discovery of STEAM pathways and careers, hands on instruction through carefully selected curricula, workshops, innovation opportunities and corporate mentorship followed by hands on application of acquired skills in solving current real world problems in the community through our Biannual STEAM Achievers Purpose Hackathons.

Corporate Engagement
- Through our full-circle approach, we prove to scholars that they have what it takes to thrive in STEAM pathways and careers, beginning from an early age, while at the same time, providing much-needed mentorship from professionals in S.T.E.A.M. careers, an opportunity that companies including Microsoft, IBM, AT&T, Cerebrum Health Centers have been engaging.
- We collaborate with your company on opportunities that engage employees and leadership in giving back, making a social impact and meeting your Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Schools and Universities
- We continue to work with Independent School Districts and charter school districts including Irving ISD, Coppell ISD, Uplift Education and Harmony Public Charter Schools, engaging their high school students in internship and volunteer opportunities through our STEAM Achievers Purpose Hackathons, and year-round programs including STEAM Achievers Afterschool Programs and Summer Programs and workshops
- We are also pleased to be in partnership with University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) and University of North Texas (UNT) Kristin Farmer Autism Center, UT Southwestern (UTSW), the Alliance of Technology and Women on the STEAM Achievers Purpose Hackathons.

The Need

Partnership and Funding of Our 2020-2021 STEAM Achievers Programs:
- Numerous schools, public libraries and recreation centers totaling up to 2,000 scholars that have requested for our after school and summer programming.
- STEAM Achievers was recognized as a STEM partner by the City of Dalllas in the successful launch Summer 2017. Our impactful STEAM programming continues to help children and youth from low income and underrepresented minority communities the critical STEM skills needed to enter into STEM careers, from learning how to code, to project-based education in engineering, digital graphics, social media and beyond.

- 24 of those locations (about 1,000 scholars) have inadequate funding and the rest (an additional 1,000 scholars) have no funding available at all. Almost all locations have been referred to us by schools or locations that love our STEAM programs after having experienced them.

- Our goal is to provide every single child, youth and young adult the impactful STEAM instruction and mentorship through chapters in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex, with a model designed to scale in cities all over Texas and around the U.S.

- In this current phase, we need $940,000 to make that dream a reality for almost 2,000 scholars in our year-round, scalable STEAM Achievers Afterschool Programs and STEAM Achievers Purpose Hackathons where scholars 3-12th grade from numerous Independent School Districts in Dallas Fort Worth, team up to give back by designing video games for children with autism. Scholars get real life and hands on experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) used by high tech companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, AT&T, IBM and more.

ABOUT S.N.A.C. Educational Services [S.T.E.A.M. National Achievement Collaborative]

According to the US Department of Education, access to quality S.T.E.A.M. programs for youth is limited and this has caused a real snowball effect that has resulted in a lack of preparedness for future careers.

“All young people,” the department report said, “Should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow.

But, right now, not enough of our youth have access to quality S.T.E.A.M. learning opportunities and too few students see these disciplines as springboards for their careers.” S.N.A.C. Educational Services seeks to bridge this gap and was approved by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax exempt status to expand our community outreach programs in S.T.E.A.M. focused Signature Programs and initiatives.

Through its additional S.T.R.E.A.M. program, S.N.A.C. will add a literacy component to help bridge the gaps in services to scholars. Through its S.T.E.A.M. Talent Bridge Initiative, S.N.A.C. will partner with corporations, governmental and non-governmental organizations to help bridge their gaps in talent acquisition among adults within the Autism Spectrum and other disabilities and within minorities, women and veteran communities across all socio-economic backgrounds.

The programs offered will leverage additional supportive resources to extend and expand our capacity to serve more cities.

*All SNAC Educational Services programs, contingent upon funding, are designed to be scalable in their execution and deployment into any city and state in the United States and beyond.

Internship Opportunities Sept 2020-August 2021:

- Year-round internship opportunities and volunteer hours are available for college and high school students' volunteer hours towards the Texas Education Association (TEA) Community Service Hours requirement for graduation.

Customized Community Engagement Opportunities:

- We are extremely honored to have provided customized volunteer opportunities for numerous teams from large fortune 500 companies, who have joined us in making a social impact where it really matters.

- Your partnership though volunteering, funding and underwriting of our events, after school, summer programs and workshops, will help us expand our reach and provide unique, STEAM-focused, hands on experiences and mentorship to over 3000 underrepresented minorities and scholars from low income families and underrepresented communities in Texas and beyond.
