Our Mission: Guiding the journey from homeless to home. Our Vision: To end homelessness in Tarrant County. Presbyterian Night Shelter of Tarrant County strives to break chronic cycles of homelessness through shelter, affordable housing, and sustainable employment. Since 1984, we have served as a safe place for guests to access critical resources and services that will ignite their journey from homeless to home as well as meet basic needs for food, shelter, and a community that cares. Driven by our mission, each program and initiative of the Shelter works together to empower our guests to exit homelessness, equipped with new skills and confidence to maintain their housing stability.

On any given night this year, around 2,400 adults and children will experience homelessness in Tarrant County – sleeping on the streets, personal vehicles, and other places not intended for human habitation, or finding temporary respite in an overnight shelter (Partnership Home, 2024 Point in Time Count).
