SPRING REINS OF LIFE INC

Spring Reins of Life is dedicated to promoting psychological healing, emotional well-being and personal growth using the skills of mental health professionals and the assistance of horses. For thousands of years there has been a unique bond between humans and horses, it is our mission to enhance and leverage this bond to reach groups of individuals who are suffering from the effects of moderate to severe trauma impact. There is zero riding involved, you need zero horse experience to benefit. We are not teaching horsemanship but rather fostering personalized coping skills that become life-man-ship as SRoL is in the business of saving lives.

Spring Reins of Life is an EAGALA Model certified program which provides EAP (equine assisted psychotherapy) group programming services to veterans, at-high-risk adolescents, women and children with PTS(d) as a result of surviving trauma. SRoL is a local volunteer-run organization which is focused on serving residents of New Jersey. The EAP programming for trauma survivors free of charge to the qualifying participants as we rely completely upon public and private donations, volunteering of time and expertise, and local community support.

Since opening our arena gates in 2012 we have served more than 2500 veteran, women, teen, and child trauma survivors in New Jersey. SRoL is currently located in Three Bridges NJ (Hunterdon/Somerset) which is equidistant between NYC and Philadelphia.
