Impactful Organizing

Impactful Organizing is the only nonprofit in Colorado providing free, professional home organizing to people who need support creating a safe, functional living environment.

We partner with social service agencies across El Paso County to reach people facing barriers related to health, disability, aging, trauma, housing instability, and limited resources. Our clients include older adults working to remain independent, people living with disabilities or health challenges, survivors of trauma, caregivers, and families navigating difficult circumstances.

For many people, an overwhelming or unsafe home is more than a housekeeping problem. Clutter and disorganization can make it difficult to move safely through the home, prepare meals, manage daily routines, maintain independence, or remain safely housed.

Our professional organizers work alongside each client to create practical, sustainable solutions in a judgment-free environment. We focus on safety, function, dignity, and helping people create homes that better support their everyday lives.

Since 2023, Impactful Organizing has:

* Served more than 52 households
* Impacted more than 150 people
* Provided more than 110 nonprofit organizing sessions
* Partnered with 13 social service agencies across El Paso County

Our Community Access Program is made possible through donations from individuals, businesses, foundations, and community partners. These contributions allow us to provide professional organizing services at no cost to qualifying neighbors who would otherwise be unable to access this support.

Every project is an opportunity to make a home safer, increase independence, and help a neighbor build greater stability.
