The Phoenix Asian American Lions Club was founded on May 5, 2015. The club has its annual Eye Cataract Surgical Missions to Caborca, Mexico the weekend before Thanksgiving, giving sights to about 90 patients. A team of 20 medical doctors, nurses and professionals from Phoenix coordinate the project with the Caborcan Lions Club. These efforts have brightened the world for many, ensuring that distance or financial constraints do not blur the future of those in need.
A Hunger-Free World: In tackling hunger, the club has partnered with Market On the Move and other local hunger organizations, ensuring that every hand that reaches out for help finds sustenance.
