ABMF is the non-profit partner of the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC.gov), the U.S. government agency that administers, operates and maintains all of America’s overseas military cemeteries, including 26 permanent American burial grounds in ten countries, and 31 separate memorials, monuments and markers, all on foreign soil.
Nearly 234,000 American servicemembers are buried or memorialized away from the homeland.
