As the holiday season approaches, Mommy & Daddy’s Little Angels Youth and Family Services Inc. proudly announces our 17th Annual Wish Giving Program. This initiative is dedicated to bringing joy and comfort to our community's underprivileged youth, teens, and young adults. This year, we are contacting compassionate supporters like you to help us fulfill 500 holiday wishes.
Attached is our organization's wish list, including specific participant requests. We invite you to join our sponsorship program by providing gifts for youth, teens, adults, and seniors. In addition, we will be hosting an educational community reading event that will bring families together, featuring local vendors offering valuable resources and services.
My name is Terrence Norris, and as the Senior Event Coordinator, I oversee our fundraising and community engagement efforts. My role includes securing donations, coordinating logistics, managing partnerships, and implementing marketing strategies to ensure the success of our initiatives.
Mission Statement:
The mission of Mommy & Daddy's Little Angel's Youth and Family Services Inc. is to foster the well-being and empowerment of disadvantaged youth and families within the underprivileged urban communities of New York City. By providing enriching youth and family programs, educational initiatives, and recreational activities, we aim to create opportunities for personal growth and community engagement. Our commitment extends to individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS and suffering from heart conditions, offering comprehensive support to address the unique challenges they face. We strive to ensure equitable access to critical and extended resources, including education, healthcare, and essential items such as clothing, coats, footwear, hygiene products, blankets, bookbags, undergarments, and other services that enhance life quality. As a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, since 2010, Mommy & Daddy's Little Angel's Youth and Family Services Inc. is dedicated to making a lasting, positive impact in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and surrounding communities.
Purpose:
Mommy & Daddy's Little Angel's Youth and Family Services Inc. aims to uplift and empower disadvantaged youth and families in the underprivileged urban communities of New York City. Through a wide range of youth and family programs, educational initiatives, and recreational activities, we work to create pathways for personal growth, community engagement, and long-term success. Our dedication extends to providing essential resources and holistic support for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS and heart conditions, addressing their unique needs, and ensuring that they have access to tools, services, and opportunities that foster a brighter future.
Why Your Support Matters
Many of the individuals we serve face significant hardships. Through the Gift Wishes 2025 program, MDLAYAFS Inc. partners with family shelters, Title I schools, NYCHA residents, foster care families, single-parent households, and individuals experiencing homelessness to provide gifts for fellow New Yorkers who might otherwise go without.
This year, we are focused on fulfilling wishes for individuals ranging from newborns to seniors up to 108 years old. We also extend our support to individuals living with HIV/AIDS who are employed yet lack familial support during this season. Additionally, we will host a private dinner for 25 young adults at China Buffet on Hylan Blvd in Staten Island, offering them a warm, intimate holiday gathering.
MDLAYAFS Inc. will collect and screen all requested gifts for our 500 participants. Our dedicated volunteers will purchase, wrap, and distribute gifts through partner agencies, including Youths Unique Summer Tours & Family Services Inc. and C.L. Collins Helping Veterans and Youth Family Services Inc., Grand Street Settlement, and Roads To Transformation Foundation Inc.

1. Fulfill a Wish
Purchase and wrap a requested gift.
Label it with the participant’s name, assigned number, and agency contact details.
2. Drop Off Your Gift
Deliver wrapped gifts to 555 McClean Avenue #4B, Staten Island, NY 10305.
Drop-off hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Gift Drop-off window: October 20, 2024 – December 10, 2025, to make sure that we have all the gifts requested in place and ready for set up.
To ensure that every participant receives a meaningful gift, we have set a minimum budget of $50 per wish, though there is no limit to your generosity.

Monetary donations help us purchase gifts for those who have not been sponsored.

During the holiday season, Mommy & Daddy’s Little Angels Youth and Family Services Inc. works tirelessly to ensure that every participant in our program experiences the warmth, joy, and love this time of year should bring.
