We are a holistic nonprofit organization that offers affordable mental health counseling, Naturopathic Medicine, and community health education programs. Inside Health Institute (IHI) was founded in 2015 to provide high-quality health care to at-risk, marginalized, uninsured, and underinsured populations such as people living in poverty, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ individuals and communities.
Our main office is in Bothell, WA and we serve our communities in King and Snohomish Counties. We offer both in-person and video counseling visits. Through sliding scale discounts we give more than $120,000/year in patient service discounts.
We have created unique community-based programs including Fun With Friends, which supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with a series of educational classes in a fun, community-building environment that focuses on health, mental health, leadership skills, nutrition, and movement.
Our goal is to ensure that every person who needs counseling/mental health support and healthcare access can use these potentially life-saving services. Our at-risk populations are disproportionately impacted by worse health outcomes and experience more barriers to accessing mental health and holistic services than well-resourced people. We break down barriers to access to ensure that our integrative health services are easily available to at-risk communities in need.
Inside Health Institute has formed partnerships with other nonprofit and for-profit community services and businesses, in order to facilitate optimum health and wellness for patients. Our partnership with the Salvation Army provides counseling and mental health assessments to unhoused populations. These assessments help to connect people with available resources. Our partnerships with UW Bothell and Bastyr University help to staff our programs and help with organizational and program development. We partner with Friendship Adventures and Seattle Parks and Recreation on Fun With Friends.
