Program Description CAMMO fulfills its mission through three core pillars that integrate creative expression, professional development, and community impact: 1. Training & Career Development CAMMO equips veterans and military-connected individuals with the skills, training, and industry access needed to pursue meaningful careers in the music and entertainment fields. Programming includes: Studio recording and audio engineering Songwriting and composition Vocal and instrumental instruction Performance coaching and stage development Industry mentorship, networking, and career guidance CAMMO-trained artists have gone on to perform at some of the nation’s most recognized events—including the Super Bowl, the National Memorial Day Concert, and inaugural ceremonies—demonstrating both exceptional talent and the strength of CAMMO’s development model. 2. Music-Based Wellness & Therapy Music serves as a powerful pathway to healing. CAMMO provides creative and therapeutic outlets for veterans, service members, and their families navigating trauma, PTSD, and the challenges of reintegration. Through songwriting workshops, collaborative jam sessions, and music-based wellness initiatives, participants are given the space to process experiences, build connections, and rediscover their voice in a supportive, peer-driven environment. 3. Public Awareness & Advocacy Through high-visibility performances, original music releases, and strategic media partnerships, CAMMO amplifies the voices and stories of the military community. By using music as a bridge, CAMMO fosters greater understanding between civilian and military audiences while raising awareness of the unique experiences, challenges, and resilience of those who serve. Impact CAMMO-trained individuals have participated in more than 250 national live performances and media appearances Over 1,000 veterans and military family members have been served through songwriting workshops and training programs CAMMO-produced content has reached audiences exceeding 30 million people, elevating veteran voices and inspiring broader public engagement
