But when he acts out on the advances of a gay classmate one afternoon, his plans are thrown for a loop, and the incident sets off a chain of events that leave him struggling with his sexuality and identity– an identity he’s always had a firm grasp on. To begin coming to terms with himself, Dakota must navigate the disciplined world of high school football– and the expectations that come with it.
