ST JOHN CENTER INC

St. John Center is on a mission to help people experiencing homelessness address the barriers to housing and self-sufficiency so they can leave homelessness for good. Our vision is a city where all people experiencing homelessness have the resources and support they need to leave homelessness for good.

The goal of St. John Center for the Homeless is to help the homeless become self-supporting members of society. We accomplish this by providing basics such as shelter, showers, restrooms, free telephone and mail service, and job and housing assistance.
We encourage guests to make positive changes in their lives by offering them free counseling and treatment for alcoholism, drug addiction and mental disease.
St. John Center has been visited well over a million times since its opening in April 1986. Currently, the Center averages between 160-200 visits each and every day of the year, nearly a third of which are veterans.
