Our charity encourages hunters to donate deer at participating processing locations that work with the program. We raise funds to pay professional meat cutters to prepare the meat for distribution. It is cut, wrapped and frozen and then given to local feeding programs that also participate with our feeding efforts. The essential lean high protein venison is given to feeding and distribution programs at no cost so they can provide it to their clients, men, women, children, the elderly, the homeless, and veterans, at no charge. We have processed and distributed over 7.2 million pounds of this precious resource which has allowed us to provide over 28.8 million servings of venison since our program began in 1991. We are a Virginia based, Virginia serving program in the United States.
