BLENDED SPIRITS RANCH

Our organization strives to be a positive influence in the community and improve the lives of individuals through Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). Since our start in 2007, we have positively influenced the lives of many children and adults who have benefited from our program. During the same time period we have rescued and rehabilitated over twelve horses from environments of abuse, neglect, or unwanted situations. We have then trained through natural horsemanship techniques to prepare and utilize them in our EAL programs. In addition to these horses, we have utilized natural horsemanship training techniques and trained an additional three horses to work in our program. As a sign of support for our organization we continually attract local volunteers and financial donors who believe and support our mission. This has manifested itself in many volunteers donating countless hours over the years caring for the horses and mentoring the children and adults who come through our programs. We have partnered and worked with clients from Sarah Reed Children's Center, Perseus House, Hermitage House, Office of Children and Youth, Veteran's Center, The Crime Victim's Center of Erie, Grace House and Urban University through the Erie City Mission, the Autism Society of Northwest PA, and Erie County Veteran's Court.
