To help kids suffering from the loss of a military parent find hope and healing through competitive gaming.

Gold Star Gamers was born when a 9 year old boy, Duffy, lost his dad and gaming partner to a traumatic accident. Duffy processed his grief by gaming with his dad daily after the loss. Gold Star Gamers helps kids rebuild connection, self-esteem, and find joy once again in life. We offer 3 main programs. Mentorship, kids are partnered with military gamers for one-on-one game time. Training camp, one week long virtual summer camps are developmental and focus on gameIQ, processing speed, communication, and in-game strategy. The flagship program, tournaments, bring kids together with the military and pro-gaming community for larger than life pro events. Kids get to game, win prizes, cash purses, and meet celebrities.
