RANCH HANDS RESCUE

Ranch Hand Rescue’s programs to support this mission are:
1. Rescue abused and severely neglected farm animals specializing in animals that are in critical condition and considered the “worst of the worst.”
2. Rehabilitate the abused and severely neglected animals so that they can be adopted into caring and loving homes.
3. Maintain and expand the sanctuary for the animals that cannot be adopted because they have ongoing special needs for care.
4. Provide psychotherapy and counseling to increase mental and emotional health for adults and children using Equine/Animal Assisted Counseling (EAAC). RHR helps people address the following issues including but are not limited to: substance abuse, trauma from physical and sexual abuse, anger management, eating disorders, depression, anxiety, grief, loss, relationship problems, veterans returning from combat with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), at-risk youth, communication and other psychological and emotional issues.
5. Provide an environment for juveniles to complete Court Ordered Community Service to turn their lives around by caring for abused and neglected animals.
