United We Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the Inland Northwest, committed to providing confidential support and assistance to first responders, military members, veterans, and their immediate families as they heal from trauma experienced in the line of duty. While we are local, our reach extends far beyond, ensuring that help is available wherever it's needed. As a newer nonprofit, we are dedicated to bridging the gap in mental health care, making critical support more accessible to those who serve.
Our trained team—comprised of first responders, military personnel, veterans, and social workers—offers compassionate peer support, group support, and guidance in navigating mental health resources. We also provide financial assistance to those in need while seeking mental health treatment, ensuring that help is never out of reach.
In 2024, we supported 18 individuals through one-on-one peer support, assisted a veteran through the dedication of our social worker until he secured an appointment with the VA, and provided critical group debriefing to 229 firefighters in Jackson, MS, following the tragic loss of one of their own to homicide. In just the first two months of 2025, we've already helped 23 individuals through one-on-one peer support, facilitated a virtual group debriefing, and supported 9 members in Jackson, MS, after a deputy sheriff was killed in the line of duty.
By standing together, we offer a vital lifeline for those impacted by critical incidents, helping them build resilience, recover, and regain a sense of normalcy. Together, we Rescue the Rescuers.
