In these extraordinary times, we are all experiencing hardships and concerns about affordability and sustainability.
It is also a time when we realize more than ever, that we are all connected. What happens to one of us, happens to all of us. As we wrestle with our own worries, we reach deeper for the courage to express compassion, empathy, and a willingness to help our fellow human and animal community members.
One Heart Wild was built on this premise and strives to practice mutual benefit within our relationships with nature, nonhuman animals, and the humans we serve. We are the safety net for animals, and humans, in need and we expect that need to increase greatly as a result of the social, emotional, and economic hardships that are befalling our nation and our communities.
One Heart Wild turned Ten in 2015 - a very exciting milestone. An accomplishment we attribute to our community, donor, grantor, volunteers, and staff belief in the mission.
The Sanctuary, and our ability to be of service to the animals, students, youth, adults, families and volunteers, depend on our ability to still be here when the dust settles. Your generosity can make that happen. Thank you for considering One Heart Wild in your giving plan.
