Paramus, New JerseyMission Statement: Operation K9 Beethoven is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 87-1417235) dedicated to promoting health, hope, and healing through the use of psychiatric service dogs and pet therapy dogs. We support veterans who suffer from PTSD, depression, and other mental health challenges by providing them with rescued, basic obedience-trained psychiatric service dogs at no charge. Each veteran also receives essential supplies, including a kennel, bed, blanket, leash, collar, bowls, dog food, treats, and toys, ensuring they are fully equipped to care for their new companion. In addition to this, we bring joy and comfort to various healthcare settings, such as veterans' homes, rehabilitation centers, hospitals, and schools, with our specially trained and certified Pet Therapy Dog Program.
At Operation K9 Beethoven, we rescue dogs and restore them to full health through comprehensive veterinary care, proper nutrition, and rehabilitation. Each dog is carefully evaluated and nurtured in a loving rescue environment where they learn socialization skills with people and other animals, proper leash manners, and foundational obedience.
