The Warrior Spirit Project 200-hour Trauma-informed Yoga Teacher Training trains veterans, first responders, and their family members to become Certified Warrior Yoga Teachers over the course of a year. During the training, participants learn and experience tools and techniques that build resilience and facilitate post-traumatic growth in their own lives through breathwork, adaptive yoga movement, and meditation. Upon graduation, they are qualified and prepared to bring these same resources into their own peer communities. Tuition for each student is $2500 and includes all materials for learning and practice. We would like to provide full or partial scholarships to all "warriors" that apply, in gratitude for their service and to eliminate financial burden while they are going through this very comprehensive and intensive training. After purchase of course materials, the remaining balance of all tuition is then placed in an Education and Training fund for our volunteer Yoga and Meditation Teachers to continue their education in trauma-informed practices. On a case-by-case basis, these funds are provided directly to the training source after an application process that requires the teacher to provide a specific reason for the request, as well as a commitment to continue volunteering with the organization for a specified amount of time.
