Kaleidoscope Therapeutic Riding Program was developed to foster independence, strength and growth in the minds and bodies of individuals with disabilities through equine assisted activities. The program is beneficial for children with physical, cognitive and/or emotional disabilities. The therapy enhances children’s self-esteem and improves balance, coordination, muscle tone and strength. Therapeutic horseback riding is beneficial for children with physical,cognitive and/or emotional disabilities. Riding horses provides therapy through recreation that coincides with physical therapy, occupational therapy, general academics, character development and enhances growth in other essential areas. We use games to deliver our therapy which makes every session enjoyable for the student, volunteers and horses alike!
KaleidoScope Therapeutic Riding Program is a nonprofit organization that was developed to help individuals with disabilities develops independence while becoming physically and mentally stronger. KaleidoScope provides 30 minute therapeutic riding lessons for individuals on a weekly basis. The lessons are grouped into four seasons which last nine weeks at a time.
