Deborah is located in Browns Mills, NJ, and serves patients from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Delaware. Additionally, patients travel from across the United States to Deborah for our advanced specialized care. To date, Deborah has served over 2.3 million patients from every state in the U.S. and 87 countries worldwide.
New Jersey is home to over 310,000 veterans, representing approximately 4.3% of the state’s adult population. According to estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau, nearly one-third of these veterans reside in the five southern counties of Burlington, Atlantic, Ocean, Gloucester, and Cape May—regions directly served by Deborah. Located just one mile from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Deborah provides care to thousands of active-duty service members, veterans, and their families each year through the HeroCare Connect Program. This program is offered at no cost to our nation’s heroes and their dependents.
In 2024, Deborah recorded 107,472 outpatient visits. Of these, eighty-nine percent of our patients ranged in age from adult to advanced-aged (40 to 85+), fifty-nine percent were male and forty-one percent were female. The average length of stay was approximately three days.
Furthermore, in 2024 Deborah provided specialized healthcare for 8,486 indigent patients at a total cost of $15,445,688.00. This figure represents support for 37% of the total patients served by Deborah, highlighting our commitment to bridging the gap for low-to-moderate income individuals in need of specialized care. These funds were made possible through the generous support of corporations, foundations, organizations, and individual philanthropists.
